MIMS Learning links with the Clarity & RCGP Appraisal Toolkit for GPs

MIMS Learning users who subscribe to the Clarity & RCGP Appraisal Toolkit for GPs can now export their evidence of learning using a simple 'Add to Clarity' feature in MIMS Learning. This new feature is free to all MIMS Learning users, including former users of GPonline's CPD Organiser.

The direct export replaces the previous process of copying and pasting notes and manually uploading CPD certificates. By clicking (or touching) the 'Add to Clarity' button on your computer or mobile device, you can now export certificates and learning notes into your current appraisal and your portfolio in the appraisal toolkit.

Each learning note in a MIMS Learning user's CPD Organiser will now display an 'Add To Clarity' button. Clicking this (or touching it, on a mobile device) will export the note to the user's appraisal toolkit portfolio and their current open appraisal

The first time you attempt to export a note, Clarity will ask for your Clarity & RCGP Appraisal Toolkit for GPs login details. This will ensure the note is sent securely to the correct account. You will also be asked to give permission for MIMS Learning to communicate with the appraisal toolkit. Thereafter, each note can be exported with a single click.

For each MIMS Learning note, any notes you have written reflecting on your learning will be transferred along with the type of learning, the number of CPD credits being claimed, and any certificate attached to the note.

Once exported, the Add To Clarity button on the note will change into a label saying Added To Clarity, indicating the note's status.
